I'm taking a break.

I just want to take a moment to thank you all for supporting me as I have begun this blog, it has been great!

 

Unfortunately I have found that the past few weeks I have struggled to remain consistent in my posts due to my chronic fatigue, so I am giving myself around a week or two's clean break from blogging to get myself up to par again.

 

 

Again, thank you so much for continually visiting my blog and helping me as I have gotten started!

Tea time.

Cinnamon tea. It's like, sweet, man.

I spent so long trying to find the perfect recipe and mixing all sorts of bits and pieces in my little teapot. Only to find: simplicity is the way to paradise-in-a-cup.
This little wonder completes any girls night in, and the colour is divine!

All you need is:

~boiling water
~ ground cinnamon (just plain cinnamon, no fancy stuff unless it's cinnamon sugar, everything else tastes yucky! (believe me))!!!!
~ honey
~ a teacup
~ teapot (preferably pretty)
~ a tea spoon.


Pop a couple of teaspoons of cinnamon and some hot water in to your tea pot.
Now wait. Patience. I know how excited you are. Calm.
After maybe 10 minutes or so, pour some tea from your pretty little tea pot in to your pretty little teacup!
Open your honey jar (yay!!!!) and put a tea spoon of it in to your teacup and stir it in.........
Once the honey has dissolved, grab some dark chocolate and a chair and your fave blankie, and enjoy!

Greetings, and a little bit about myself...

Hello there, little pretties!

It has begun! My blog! FINALLY!

My name is Annabelle, and my middle name is Elizabeth. I am an adorer of everything different and quirky, I never like to blend in. I'm a 17 year old Australian lassie with a love for beautiful things.
I am also a believer in sustainable living and economical smarts, which is evident in my constant creating and thrift shopping! And my inability to pay full price for anything, never, ever. Honestly, it's a problem.
I draw, sew, paint, crochet, and make anything with whatever I can get my little hands on.
I am an old fashioned one, that is for sure. I want to get married young and be a housewife (ironic in these feminist times, I know), have my own veggie patch and ride my little retro bike all over town running errands. All this along with being a free lance artist! I have a ways to go yet though ;)
And last but never least, Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour.
